Tornado reported near Hillsborough

A tornado passed through Orange County early Tuesday evening but apparently caused little damage. At 5:27 p.m. National Weather Service radar in Raleigh indicated a tornado over Efland, about seven miles southwest of Hillsborough. The twister was part of a line of severe storms moving through the county that brought heavy rain and high winds.
